From May 8 to 11, the 2025 Anhui Provincial Preliminary of the National College Young Teachers’ Physics Teaching Competition, along with the annual meeting of the Ministry of Education’s University Physics Teaching Steering Committee (Anhui Subcommittee), was held in Hefei. Our college’s young faculty members, Liu Xiaofeng and Zheng Renfei, delivered outstanding performances and were awarded the Grand Prize and First Prize, respectively. Liu Xiaofeng will go on to represent the Anhui region in the East China regional semi-final.

Co-hosted by the Anhui Subcommittee of the University Physics Teaching Steering Committee and the Anhui Physical Society, and organized by Anhui University, the competition featured 20 young teachers from 19 universities, including the University of Science and Technology of China, Hefei University of Technology, Anhui University, and Anhui Normal University.

Liu Xiaofeng and Zheng Renfei impressed the judges with their clear instructional logic, innovative teaching design, and confident, engaging classroom presence. Their lessons skillfully integrated cutting-edge disciplinary content and ideological-political elements, embodying the core educational principles of "cultivating virtue and character" and "student-centered learning." Their strong subject mastery and outstanding classroom delivery earned them top honors in both the preliminary and final rounds.
