The 8th CUPT East China Regional Competition was held from May 23 to 25, 2025, at Soochow University. Teams from 43 universities participated, including the University of Science and Technology of China, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Nanjing University, Shandong University, Xiamen University, Hefei University of Technology, and others. In this fierce competition, our university’s team performed admirably, winning the First Prize and successfully advancing to the national finals. Team member Lü Xiang was honored with the Best Proponent Award, demonstrating our students’ strong ability to combine theory with practice and their spirit of teamwork and perseverance.

The China Undergraduate Physics Tournament (CUPT) is a large-scale academic competition for undergraduates aimed at comprehensively enhancing students’ overall competence. This year's event was jointly organized by the Jiangsu Physical Society and Soochow University.
