On the morning of March 5, 2025, the School of Physics organized a special guidance meeting in Room B708 of the Feicui Science and Education Building to enhance the quality of National Natural Science Foundation (NSFC) applications. Five senior experts from the school, including Dean Gao Weiqing, participated in the session, providing guidance. The school’s research secretary and faculty members involved in the application process attended the event.

Dean Gao Weiqing emphasized that NSFC applications are a top priority in the school’s research agenda. He urged faculty members to focus on the originality of their research topics, the feasibility of their study plans, and the standardization of their proposals, ensuring that they fully incorporate expert feedback to refine their applications. Chen Bing presented an overview of the school's 2025 NSFC application progress and provided targeted recommendations on key aspects of proposal writing.

During the meeting, senior experts from various academic fields conducted group reviews and provided on-the-spot evaluations. They offered personalized guidance on refining research backgrounds, optimizing technical approaches, and strengthening innovation highlights. Experts also recommended aligning proposals with cutting-edge trends in their respective disciplines to enhance application strategies.
